Welcome to Feedrise. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of feedrise.org and any related services, content, and programs offered by Feedrise Inc., a Texas nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) charitable organization headquartered in Dallas, Texas ("Feedrise," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this site. Volunteers under 18 may participate in approved programs only with the written consent of a parent or guardian.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with site operation, or upload malicious code.
- Impersonate Feedrise, our staff, or other individuals, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
- Collect or harvest information about other users, donors, or program participants.
3. Donations
Donations to Feedrise Inc. support our charitable mission of providing meals and food assistance across the DFW Metroplex. Feedrise is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by United States law. Unless otherwise stated in writing, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution. All donations are final and non refundable except where required by law or where a clear processing error has occurred. To request a review of a donation, email contact@feedrise.org within thirty (30) days.
4. Volunteers
Volunteer service is a generous gift, and we are grateful for it. Volunteer participation is voluntary, unpaid, and at your own risk. Feedrise may, in its discretion, decline, suspend, or end any volunteer engagement to protect the safety of staff, volunteers, donors, or the people we serve. Volunteers may be required to sign additional waivers or background check authorizations before serving in certain roles.
5. Intellectual Property
The Feedrise name, logo, brand marks, photographs, written content, and site design are the property of Feedrise Inc. or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non commercial sharing of public pages.
6. Third Party Services and Links
Our site may link to third party services such as payment processors, social platforms, or partner organizations. Feedrise is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or completely secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feedrise Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or our programs.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Feedrise harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
10. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a revision becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
